A Pageant to Help Young Black Men Succeed in St. Louis, MO, and the U.S.A.

“What is the Mister Juneteenth™ Pageant?”

As mentioned on our home page, the Mister Juneteenth™ pageant, held biannually by HENLOR Foundation Corporation from St. Louis, MO, exists to welcome and invest in young Black men from the ages of 12 to 25 around the United States of America. We are immensely proud of the fact we are one of the only national Black male pageant systems to offer scholarships and incentives to deserving youth and young men. Additionally, the Mister Juneteenth™ National Competition will be held in June, biennial in even years, and will be the hallmark event of our pageant, as we welcome teens and adult men from every region of the country.

Our Inaugural Pageant

The inaugural national pageant was held on May 19, 2023, in St. Louis, MO, in the Touhill Theater at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. We welcomed young Black men from all over the country who engaged in local communities as well as a weeklong series of online campaign initiatives and events dedicated to learning leadership, mentorship, hard work, community service, and finding your why.

Our Ongoing Work

Each year, our organizational outreach will include various workshops, campaigns, and initiatives designed to promote the development and wellness of Black men in America. We are excited to feature our national platform, Sickle Cell Disease (SCD).
